Wow, I feel so behind on blogging already and wedding season just started! I've been so busy shooting weddings and second shooting that I'm just trying to keep up!
It's been a while since I posted but what a better way to start up again, than to share my May wedding from this year. I met Sara and Joe 2 years ago when they started planning their wedding. They were one of my couples that was definitely on top of their wedding planning game! When I met them they were still finalizing details and figuring out venues, but since it was so far out I was flexible an so were they and it all worked out! And I'm glad it did because they really are the sweetest. They traveled to see me to shoot their engagement session at a tree farm near my house and fast forward almost 2 years later it was time for their big day! Although 3 weeks out when I checked on them to see why they hadn't finished their questionnaire yet, they had bad news - their venue had cancelled on them with no notice! They had to scramble and find a new place. Which in Philly, in May, is no easy task! Luckily, there was one venue available and honestly, it was a really beautiful and perfect place. It also happened to be right across from independent mall which meant we had an amazing backdrop for photos - not to mention the venue had a sweet balcony for pictures! Even the rain held off that day - after it had basically rained for 10 straight days! In the end everything all worked out and it was such a magical and perfect day. Here are some of my favorites from their mostly candid wedding day in May.
