What can I say about this family. I met them a few years back when I shot Sebastian's uncle's wedding. I truly look forward to hearing from them and seeing them for their sessions as they have become more than clients, but are now friends. Little Sebby was sooo good for his entire session. And he ate those tacos like a boss. I also found out, my 4 year old aspires to be a photographer's assistant! He enjoyed helping me all day and when I went to do the outside portion he cried to come with me and help with the "baby." It totally melted my heart. Happy birthday little buddy! I can't wait to see you again!
When I walked into Tiffani's hotel room she had just finished cutting off 6 inches of hair - on the morning of her wedding! That was definitely a first! But it tells you what kind of bold and strong woman she is! Their day was hot and sunny and had a couple of minor bumps - like me getting electrocuted by the horse fence at the farm - but you know, no biggie, the show goes on! At the end of the day, I can honestly say I was very tired, but very happy to have spent the day celebrating with these two!
It's so incredibly rare that I'm this excited about a wedding that I get a blog up within a week after the wedding, but here I am. Emily and Ted couldn't have been more perfect. In the year that I have been shooting wedding, they are truly one of the sweetest couples that I've come across and that made for a really incredible day in every way. They looked stunning, of course, but it wasn't just that, they were so in love and it just beamed from them. It started pouring during bridal party pictures and they weren't even phased. They just say down under the patio and we all chatted and waited until the rain stopped and then finished what we were doing. Some couples would have been upset or not wanted to get back out there, but these two just didn't care. It was their day and they were going to enjoy every last second of it! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Alexander - I just know you are going to have many, many years of happiness to come.
Well that didn't take long - I started out this season relatively on top of my blogging, but as soon as I hit my busy streak I fell behind. What a great place to pick back up than with Vanessa and David and their gorgeous Barn at Glistening Pond wedding in August. The day couldn't have been any more perfect and when we got there, there was a little patch of sunflowers! A photographer's dream! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Arnold! I wish you many years of happiness!
What can I say about Ally and Miguel's day except that it was truly perfect? The day started out a little hectic, but settled in quite nicely by the reception. I don't normally stay through the end of the reception, but since they were having a sparkler exit, I got to stay and have some fun. This was definitely one of the best celebrations of any weddings I've been to. Congrats Ally and Miguel! I wish you many, many years of happiness!
This was truly one of the most beautiful wedding days I have ever photographed! From a gorgeous couple, to a perfect venue, to absolutely amazing details - the clouds even parted just in time for a sunset! This was also my first trip to Colonial Pines and I was not disappointed. Congratulations Kayla and Jon!
Yesterday was an absolutely picture perfect day for a wedding! Kristen and Patrick's day started out at Mary Mother of God parish in Scranton and then we traveled to Blakeslee Borough Recreational Park for pictures. The clouds were there in all the right places for us to take pictures! The celebration continued at Al Mia amore in Dickson City and what a party it was! You can tell this couple is really loved and adored by their family and friends! Here is the first sneak peek of their big day!
